Educational Development in Togo

Renowned educator, Dr. Ashley Deans, recently visited Lome, Togo as part of this third tour of the continent meeting with government leaders, press, educators parents and students to discuss innovations in education. Dr. Deans drew on his extensive experience as a pioneer of Consciousness-Based Education in his award winning school in the USA that has produced amazing results year after year.

On this visit he met with 30 journalists for an extensive press conference. He then met with the Director of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Education with a proposal to initiate a pilot project in 10 schools. A meeting was also held with the Minister for Higher Education to plan for an Education Conference at the University of Lome.

Dr. Deans also met with military leaders regarding programs to reduce stress and trauma for soldiers.
