Orgle2

Tetey Kwesi Orgle, PhD, (Ghana) has served as Director of the Resource Management Support Center for the Forestry Commission of Ghana and has worked with a variety of NGOs including the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Fearless Planet Inc., and Global Country of World Peace.

He has worked on development projects with traditional leaders in Ghana, Zambia, Nigeria, and Cameroon.

Dr. Orgle earned his doctoral degree in Tropical Forest Ecology from the University of Aberdeen.

 

International Directors

Richard
Richard Robertson (Trinidad & Tobago) is a Director for Consciousness-based education for Latin America and the Caribbean. He has been involved in implementing educational programs in Mozambique, Uganda, and Zambia, as well as Barbados, Brazil, Dominica, Guyana, Haiti, The Netherlands, The Philippines, St. Lucia, and  Trinidad.

He was the General Manager of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture in the northeast of Brazil from 1998 to 2007. Richard holds a Master’s Degree in the Science of Creative Intelligence (MSCI) from the Maharishi European Research University, Switzerland.

Janine Decot Robertson (Brazil) is a Director for Consciousness-based education for Latin America and the Caribbean.

She has initiated projects in Brazil, Uganda, Mozambique and Guyana.

Janine was a Director of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture in the northeast of Brazil from 1998 to 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree, specialising in Visual Communication, from the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, São Paulo, Brazil.

SolomonMwangi
Solomon Mwangi (Kenya) is coordinator for the Institute’s programs in East Africa based in Nairobi.He has worked extensively in Kenya and Uganda to promote Consciousness-Based Education.

He also has extensive experience in architecture, design, construction and project management having worked with a variety of leading architecture and engineering firms in Africa. He has had advanced training in the principles of sustainable design and construction for buildings to most in harmony with nature, promoting good health, happiness, and fortune for its residents.

He is currently overseeing the construction of new school facilities in both Uganda and Kenya. He holds a BA in Architecture from the University of Nairobi.

CarolynKing
Carolyn Gaylord King, PhD (USA) is a researcher and Professor in the Department of Physiology and Health at Maharishi University of Management. She conducted the first federally funded research projects involving the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique and is actively involved in research on the effects of TM on health.

She has also worked with the government of Mozambique to implement programs to successfully reduce social conflict.

Dr. King received a B.A. from Southern Arkansas University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

Leanne
Leanne de Freitas (USA) is an International Director and Assistant Administrator of eight countries for the Global Country of World Peace, Netherlands.

She is a mother and life-long educator who has taught in the USA, India and Philippines. She is a volunteer for Seeds of Heaven and has visited Seeds of Heaven projects in Kenya, Uganda, Togo, Botswana and South Africa.
Her particular interest at the Institute for Excellence in Africa is in promoting holistic programs benefitting women and girls.

She holds a BA degree in Russian from Michigan State University.

Graham de Freitas Ph.D. (USA) is US Director for the Institute for Excellence in Africa.

He is also Program Manager for Seeds of Heaven, a non-profit organization that is supporting education and health projects in 17 countries. Dr. de Freitas is an International Director of the Global Country of World Peace, Netherlands and Administrator for for 8 countries.

He has also been Assistant Professor of Science and Technology of Consciousness at Maharishi University of Management, Iowa USA. He holds the following degrees: MA (Economics) University of Cambridge; MS (Agriculture Economics) Michigan State University; Ph.D. (Science and Technology of Consciousness) Maharishi University of Management.

Christopher Crowell (Netherlands) is Director of International Program Development for Maharishi University of Management, USA; International Director of the World Federation of Traditional Kings, Switzerland and an International Director of the Global Country of World Peace, a consortium of educational NGOs in more than 100 countries that are working to promote peace and prosperity through Consciousness-Based education.

He has traveled to over 35 countries on development projects to strengthen cultural diversity while empowering local partners to create social harmony and national unity. He holds the following degrees: BA in Environmental Design, University of California at Berkeley; MA in Higher Education Administration from Maharishi University of Management, USA.

Ann Crowell (Netherlands) is an International Director of the Global Country of World Peace and Director of the World Federation of Traditional Kings.

She has extensive experience in broadcasting, media, health, education and program support. She has traveled throughout the world on development projects with a special focus on culture, consciousness, and social coherence.

She has a BA degree in Speech from the University of Iowa and a Master’s Degree in the Science of Creative Intelligence (MSCI) from the Maharishi European Research University, Switzerland.
